On Tuesday the 24th of June 2009 it was
time to hand over the fourth Damen Pushbuster
3511 for Damen Marine Services. The trails of
this Pushbuster were the best ever. With an
average bollard pull of 69 ton is the DMS Kingfisher
the strongest vessel built by Damen Shipyards
Hardinxveld.
The christening ceremony of the DMS Buzzard
took place on Thursday the 2th of April.
The DMS Buzzard left two days later to pick-up
the "Sliedrecht 35" in La Rochelle for Van Oord
and brought it to Tunisia.
The DMS Buzzard is now on her way to Singapore.
On the 21st of January 2009 the
second Pushbuster 3511, the
DMS Harrier, was delivered to
Damen Marine Services.
After the ceremony the vessel
went on its way to China.
The delivery of the very first Pusbuster
3511 was on the 28th of October 2008.
The "DMS Blackbird" is now going to
work for Van Oord Dredging in Dubai
to push sandbarges.
