The delivery of the Dintelstroom took place on the 6th of November 2009, together with a new pontoon. The christening ceremony was performed by Mrs. De Heer.
Van Wijngaarden Marine Services has for the Dintelstroom and the  Giessenstroom, also a Shoalbuster 3009, a contract with the Marine & Salvage Department of the British Ministry of Defense for ten years in the Falkland Islands.
The Dintelstroom and the pontoon are now on their way to the Falkland Islands, this is a non-stop trip of 7000 mile and will take about 40 days.
